Hi, I’m Betsy, wife to an amazing husband, father and DIY superhero, and mom to two incredible teenage boys.

I have often said that God gave me boys for a reason. I’ve never been a “girly” girl. Drama, glitter, and bling just aren’t my thing.

We are a house full of nerds. We love all things tech, own way too many gadgets and are always curious about how things work.

Most days, when you walk through our front door, you’ll find an in-progress jigsaw puzzle on our dining room table, along with our two dogs, Chloe and Tucker, begging for your attention.

As I write this, I’ve been a mom to two boys for a little over 15 years. That’s more than a decade of memories filled with love, laughter, learning, and Legos. LOTS of Legos. But that’s another post for another time.

I’ve learned SO much about raising boys. In fact, I continue to learn every single day. It’s funny, the challenges we faced as parents when they were little are similar to the challenges we are still facing today – making sure they get enough sleep, helping them develop confidence, easing them through transitions, promoting healthy eating (that’s a never-ending battle!), encouraging them to fail and try again, teaching them how to be vulnerable… the list goes on and on.
